We decided since the tide was quite low we walk take the beach route to save an hour walking. This was good although the beach was full of very sharp shells and loads of crabs and of course a river we needed to cross.

We waded through he river which went over our knees and made it to Anchorage bay avoiding being nipped by crabs. Then we decided we would walk back along the path and visit Cleopatra’s pool.

After about an hour we started the 12 km back to where we had left the car, the scenery is breathtaking and the walk was very enjoyable.
