Day 73 - New Orleans, Louisiana, USA

Day 73 – 20th August 2005 -6:00 GMT

Got up and visited the casino while Jill and Reece both stayed in bed. When Reece and Jill were up and ready we went wandered around the French quarter. The French quarter is roughly a square mile with narrow streets and quaint houses, The houses are 4 or 5 storey high and are overflowing with flower baskets.

We walked along Decatur Street and looked at Jackson square a pedestrianised area full of street artists.

We then walked along Royal Street and back along Bourbon Street. I went back to the Casino for a couple of hours Won over $700 Playing blackjack. Then we went to a bar for dinner and drinks, we stayed for a few hours as the Juke box was playing good tunes. Reece and I then went into a club for a few drinks, went back to the hotel at 2am for some sleep.
