Day 70 - Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Day 70 – 17th August 2005 -5:00 GMT

Walked around the city for a while and then walked through Auburn area up to the Dr. Martin Luther King Museum, where we watched a short film on segregation and walked around the museum which was all free. We then walked up the street to Dr. Martin Luther Kings house and then through the king centre and saw his grave and monument.

We then walked back into the city centre and looked around Atlanta underground which is a underground shopping mall, we then walked up to the state capital and then back through the city and out to Centennial park the 1996 Atlanta Olympics Park.

After a couple of hours back at the hotel we drove to an area called Five Points (where Butch Walker live) and through the Piedmont Park and up to an area called Buckhead which is where the large chain stores and shopping malls are.
Due to the thunder and lightning we headed back to the hotel and ate there.
