Day 68 - Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Day 68 – 15th August 2005 -6:00 GMT

Jill and I walked into downtown Nashville and all the bars still had live bands on even first thing in the morning.

We choose a restaurant for dinner, then walked to the Country and Western Hall of Fame.

The museum was very good and covered the history of Country and Western stating in 1877 up to present day and looked at performers like Earl Scruggs, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, Kenny Rogers and Shania Twain.

We then walked along second avenue and looked at the shops and then walked up to the State Capitol Building and then looked at the War Memorial Auditorium.

We then walked back to the hotel in the 98 F sun. In the evening we drove out to a pub and brewery where we sampled their beer and I had a fine steak.
