Day 138 - Rotorua, New Zealand
Day 138 – 24th October 2005 +12:00 GMT Total Miles 27290
Had a long lie in then just hung around the hostel for the morning sitting in the garden in the sun doing crosswords with Jill. Had some soup and bread for lunch then we went out on a drive to Lake Tarawera.

We drove around the lake then stopped and had a walk along the shore.

We then drove on to a viewing point between the Blue Lake and the Green Lake.

The Blue Lake is a Caldera and is pretty much circular.

We then drove on to Redwood forest and had a look around before going back to the hostel. We spent the evening in the hostel chatting to the other guests and playing chess.
