Day 48 – 26th July 2005 -5:00 GMT

Woke up with a bit of a hangover, must have been a good night. We hung around the hostel for most of the morning and then caught the bus to the centre of Washington DC. The temperature is presently 102 F/39 C. We walked along The National Mall (which is a 2km park which runs perpendicular to the White House)
